What is Claustrophobia and how do you define it?
Claustrophobia is defined as a fear of being enclosed or in a small a confined space, and like any phobia, the severity of claustrophobia varies widely from person to person.
Typically sufferers may experience claustrophobic symptoms in small rooms and areas such as lifts, windowless rooms, locked rooms, crowds, trains, tunnels, cellars, caves, aeroplanes and many other enclosed situations.
Some people with claustrophobia are anxious and uncomfortable in any situation where they feel restrained, which can sometimes make travel difficult.

What are some of the Claustrophobic symptoms?
People who suffer with claustrophobia may feel panicked when in an enclosed space, they may sweat, feel suffocated, shake, gasp for air, feel dizzy, cry and experience palpations and if these feelings become overwhelming, they may try to get out and away quickly by any means possible.
The result is that claustrophobia can severely limit a persons life, causing them to miss out on events that to many are classed as normal everyday events, parties, cinema. For some sufferers it can add extra strain onto relationships as it can also affect other family members.
How does Hypnotherapy help me overcome my Claustrophobia?
As with many issues, you weren't born with claustrophobia, you learned to respond in this way. In short, something happened to you to make you feel and respond the way you do. And as odd as it sounds, the fear was probably produced to protect you in some way. So the fact that you learned it, means that you have the capability to unlearn it
Through hypnotherapy, we work together to find out what the cause of your Claustrophobia is and when it started. We can then cleanse and release the emotional charge so that you can take control and start to live again.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions required will vary according your individual needs and circumstances along with how quickly we can get to the root and cause of the problem.
How long is a session and what's the cost per session?
The cost per session is £60, with each session lasting around 2 hours.
